Hello everyone, we have two good sized rooms available in our beautiful house on Peckham Rye park.

There’s 5 of us in total ( including the 2 new housemates ). We were lucky enough to find the house through Open Rent ( and therefore deal directly with the landlord).

The property is a 1680 sq. ft. flat, arranged over 1st and 2nd (top) floor of a large early Victorian terrace. Huge usable space in incredible location, literally overlooking Peckham Rye park. Great balance of peace and quiet but easy access to local amenities and the nightlife of Peckham.

Nunhead and Peckham Rye stations are both a 12 min walk. East Dulwich station a 15 min walk. Lordship Lane a 12 min walk. 343/484 bus route to New Cross. 12, 37, 63 buses from the other side of the common to Elephant & Castle and Central London. Permit-free parking on Somerton Rd / Waveney Ave.

The house has 4 levels that contain 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 toilet, a large open plan kitchen / living room, two storage / utility rooms and a large space in the landing.

The open plan living room has a laminate hardwood floor and bay window storage/seat and views of the park. The kitchen is a fitted affair with LED lights and grey quartz worktops. It also has a cooker boiling water tap (look it up, it's great).

One room is upstairs at the back of the house, next to the big bathroom. It’s a double room with space for furniture. It comes with a bed and a built-in wardrobe.

The other room is on the top floor. It’s a double room with a large wardrobe and bed.

Currently there are 5 of us living in the house, but Amber and Alex are moving out. There’s a couple ( Alistair and Claudia ) who share the double master bedroom overlooking the park on the top floor. Claudia is half Spanish half Venezuelan, owns a cafe in Peckham. She loves plants and art ( so the more plants the merrier!) Alistair, who is from London, is a full time artist/ He loves art, languages and travelling. We also have Mike, who's an easy going individual from Liverpool, and works as a mental health nurse.

Whoever moves in will need to be a good fit; relaxed, clean and respectful of each others space, but also up for going out and having a few beers, or even just chilling at home and having dinners together when possible.

Rent is £1095 pc, bills included! Whoever moves in will need to be reference checked and will be added to the house contract which will have a 12 month duration.
