Description

Small double room to rent on Peckham Rye park. Room is a small double furnished with a small but comfy double bed, bedside cabinet and wardrobe, a few small shelves built in to the wall, and space for a tall thin shelving unit to slot in next to the wardrobe.

Room is cute and light/peaceful, but pretty compact with not much floor space left over with the above furniture slotted in. Flat has a pretty living/dining room with Freeview/DVD player, and a small but completely functional kitchen with cooker, rice cooker, microwave, coffee machine, soda stream.

Flat is really nicely furnished with flexibility to hang shelves and pictures on the walls. We have a small patio area with a table and stools for spring/summer dining. There’s communal green space and we’re right next to the big park. 9 min walk to Peckham Rye station and close to the cool bars, restaurants and cafes of East Dulwich and Peckham Rye + the leisure centre.

Sharing with me, a female PhD student who also works part-time in mental health. Quite independent, chilled and hard-working, but like to chat to my flatmate on the sofa when we are both around, and perhaps cook together occasionally/watch films. Would suit someone chilled, quiet, considerate and tidy.

Room available on 21st November (with flexibility on date). Current contract runs till August 2015, so it could be a short-term let till then, or we could renew the contract in August and stay longer/6 months/1 year/whatever suits.

Rent £650 PCM + bills around £85 on top of that. Deposit £975 but goes straight in to a tenancy deposit scheme so really safe/secure. It’s a private landlady so no fees, and she seems really nice/honest.
