Description
I’m looking for someone to take over my flatmate’s room in our lovely 2-bed 2-storey flat in Pimlico /Victoria Station (SW1V). She’s moving in with her partner so the room will be available from 1 December (flexible to move in the weekend of 29–30 November).
🏠 The Flat
• Spacious, bright, and fully furnished across two floors. It often feels like you have the place to yourself.
• The 2 bedrooms are upstairs. Downstairs is the living room, kitchen, and balcony.
• Recently refurbished kitchen with all essential appliances, dishwasher, washing machine.
• Shared living area with a dining table, desk space with monitors, comfy armchair and couch, tv.
• Bathroom is shared but the shower and toilet are separate so it’s very easy to coordinate.
🛏 The Room
• Fully furnished with a bed, wardrobe, cupboard, mirror, and two bedside tables.
• Ideal for someone without furniture or new to London
💸 Rent
• £1,230/month (all bills included) - everything’s already set up (amazing price for the area!)
• Deposit: £800 to secure the place
• Rent is due on the last day of each month for the following month (ex: December rent is due on 30 November).
• Cleaner once a month for deep cleaning (£25 pp) (Or can be more frequent if needed; otherwise, we just clean up after ourselves during the week)
• 3 months commitment then month-to-month rolling
📍 Location
• 10 mins walk to Victoria Station (Victoria, Circle & District lines) or 7 mins to Pimlico Station with lots of buses nearby
• 2 stops to Oxford Circus, 15 mins walk to Buckingham Palace / St James Park, 25 mins walk to Big Ben, 30 mins train to Gatwick Airport
• Surrounded by Tesco, Waitrose, and Sainsbury’s (large one). Cute cafes (such as Ben Venuti) , local pubs, cute shops, and weekday food market at our doorsteps.
• One of the most convenient and charming central London neighbourhoods (Postcode: SW1V)
👩🏻💻About Me
• I’m Vietnamese-Australian and in my early 30s. I grew up in international schools and have moved around quite a lot. I have lived in NYC, San Francisco, Geneva, Hanoi, Sydney and Canberra among other cities before moving to London last year.
• I work in corporate finance and my work schedule is 3 days in office and 2 days WFH (4 days office; 1 day WFH from 2026).
• In my free time, I love films, art, museums, writing, reading, poetry, stand up comedy, theatre shows, reformer pilates, gym, hiking, exploring London, and weekend trips.
• I’m quite social but also balance it out with downtime. I’m looking for someone friendly, tidy, and considerate. I have had amazing friendships with flatmates in all cities I have lived in so hope to find a flatmate with experience in flatsharing as well and make the flat a comfortable and chill home.
Our landlady is lovely and lives in Australia but her family is nearby if anything comes up. I got introduced to this flat via a family friend so I try to take really good care of the place. I genuinely love living in this flat and it’s been a highlight of my experience in London. I hope to find someone who is respectful and who will also enjoy living here.
If this sounds like a good fit, send me a message with a bit about yourself and any questions you have and we can arrange a viewing (I’m available most weekdays evenings after work and weekends).
