Double room in Queer household , E13

Lovely cosy double room available from 01.02.26 (although there may be some flexibility on the date).

We are a queer household who are seeking an LGBTQI+ housemate to share the space with.

Monthly rent is £700 inclusive of bills / council tax.

It's a large spacious house, located 10 mins from Plaistow tube (district line) or a 12 min bus ride to Stratford. West Ham Park is very near, as is the very vibrant Green Street.

The household currently consists of a live in landlady, with a child (male, 10) who lives in the property half the time and another full time tenant.

We are not a party household and tend to do our own thing socially, so the room would suit somebody who has an established network and is not explicitly looking for one through housemates. Friends / partners welcome to visit/ stay (but not move in)

We are not vegetarian (although do not each much meat and would be very respectful of others who are e. g. by not using specific pans/ utensils, etc if required).

We share:
A cosy plant filled kitchen
A spacious living / dining room
bathroom / toilet (generally shared with one other, landlady generally uses own en suite)
A utility room with washing machine
A well kept back garden

There is space to keep a bike.

We have a friendly dog (spaniel) who is house trained and spends most of the day with the an older parent who resides at the back of the property in a self contained space. Plenty of dog walking opportunities if you fancy them.

Cleaning is shared amongst housemates and there is an expectation that you actively and regularly contribute.

We are quite a neurodivergent household, so an awareness of this would be helpful, but is not essential.
