East London house share

Hi everyone, my name is Carmen and I am posting on behalf of my landlords to advertise the soon to be free room in my flat.

About the flat: Two bed terraced house with a garden in E13, 5 min walk from Plaistow tube station (hammersmith and city, district tube lines). There are multiple bus stops in the area and a brand new Gym Group and Coop opening by the station this month. The area is very residential, quiet, and I’ve never felt unsafe walking alone in the dark as it is very well lit. There is also a nice greenway/trail a 2 minute walk away from the house that is perfect for walks, biking, or running. The second bedroom is available starting Aug 1st. Rent is currently £850, bills usually around £140 per month (inclusive of council tax band C, electric and gas, water, WiFi). The bedroom is furnished with a double bed - please note all other furniture in the room will be leaving with my current flatmate.

About me: I’ve lived in the flat for three years now and have a great relationship with the landlords who are a couple my age. I’m 26, American, a data analyst in the mental health field, and I’d love to live with another girl in her 20s. I’m very tidy, easygoing, social, and would love to be friends with my new flatmate. I’m into cooking/baking, reading, going to concerts, having a wine/movie night in, and going out to try new restaurants/pubs/markets/events around London. The house is definitely my sanctuary, so I’d really appreciate a flatmate who loves and cares for it as much as I do! My current flatmate and I do weekly dinners together and I’d love to continue this tradition ☺️
