Big Bright Double Room in Plumstead (open to pets)

Hey! I’m Tom, an easy going filmmaker looking for someone to come join me at my lovely gaff in sunny Plumstead, moving in early October, I’m flexible on length of stay.

I’m looking for someone who’s relaxed, who’s social, likes to cook, interested in gardening a bonus, clean but not obsessive, enjoys a alcoholic beverage.

The House / Neighbourhood
We’re situated on a quiet residential road, right next to Winns Common, a very large green area, and down the road on Plumstead High Street is lots of local shops and eateries, my favourite is the Dosa & Sambal express (incredible Dosa’s and cheap!)

The house has a good size split level garden with decking area, fit with gas barbecue ready to fire up some tasty treats, dinning area and lounge seating. With a beautiful view over the riverside. (Well Barking really)

The kitchen comes fitted with all the mod cons, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and lots of storage space.

Living room has a large TV and sofa, some chairs, plants etc.

The bathroom is newly fitted, has a large bath and separate shower.

We’re just 10 minutes via bus to Woolwich Station on the Elizabeth Line or a 15 minute walk to Plumstead Rail Station which goes into London Bridge.

The rent includes all bills and a cleaner every two weeks.

The Room
It’s a large bright double room, with two new double glazed windows, comes with double bed, blackout curtains, bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Pets
I love animals and I’m open to having pets in the house but I’d insist on any dogs coming to the first viewing just to get a feel for their character.

About me
I’m a freelance filmmaker and photographer, I make documentaries, I love film photography printing and developing in my little shed / business centre, cycling, watching movies and going to exhibitions.

I’m ideally looking for someone that works out of the house most of the time, as I work from home and would appreciate the space to work and take calls.
