A bright, spacious double room is available in my home, shared with just myself (the live-in landlord) and my two friendly 17-year-old cats.

The room comes furnished and is available for an initial 3-month let, with the possibility of extending if it's a good fit for both of us.

The house is light and airy, with lots of natural light throughout. Located just off Plumstead Common and the tennis courts, it backs directly onto Plumstead Common Nature Reserve, offering a great balance of green space and excellent transport links. The bedroom overlooks the nature reserve, with a peaceful view of trees and wildlife.

The house is spacious and has plenty of room to relax, with a large living room, separate dining room and private garden.

Layout

The house is arranged over three floors. The entrance hall and living room are on the ground floor, the bedrooms are on the first floor, and the kitchen, dining room, bathroom and garden are on the lower ground floor.

- 15–20 minute walk to Woolwich Elizabeth Line (fast links to Canary Wharf, Liverpool Street, Farringdon, Bond Street and Tottenham Court Road)

- 10 minute walk to Plumstead station (direct services to Cannon Street and Charing Cross)

- Regular nearby buses to Woolwich and surrounding areas

- Co-op a 3-minute walk away, with Tesco Extra, Lidl, Sainsbury's and M&S Food all nearby in Woolwich

- Plumstead Common is at the top of the road and is perfect for walking, running or grabbing a coffee from Plumstead Pantry or The Slade Café.

I'm looking for someone who is clean, considerate and respectful, and who enjoys a peaceful home. Someone with an active lifestyle and their own interests would be a great fit.

As I have two friendly cats, I'm looking for someone who is cat-friendly and wouldn't mind feeding them occasionally if I'm working late or away for a night or two.

The house is comfortable and well cared for, and I'm gradually updating and redecorating parts of it, so there are a few cosmetic jobs still on the to-do list.

I'm 36 and work in the film and TV industry. I enjoy cooking, good food, running and spending time outdoors.
