The Area
South Poplar is a bit of a mix of two worlds - the 1950 housing estates on one side with the legendary Crisp Street Market and the shiny skyscrapers of Canary Wharf. on the other. Surprisingly well connected, often feels like a quiet peaceful bubble, occasionally disturbed by a noise from our local seagull colony - a fishermen village vibe (Billingsgate Fish Market is just 10 mins away..). All possible shops within short walking distance.
Fun trivia/history about Poplar - here's where Dorian Grey would have spent his youthful nights out - the nearby busy harbour meant that Poplar High Street looked like a Diagon Alley (before the Blitz) - basically Colonial shops, Opium houses and Brothels..

• 4 minutes’ walk to Poplar DLR (10 minutes to Bank)
• 4 minutes’ walk to All Saints DLR (15 minutes to Stratford)
• 12 minutes’ walk to Canary Wharf (Jubilee Line)
• 9 minutes’ walk to the new Elizabeth Line (12 minutes to Tottenham Court Road)
