House sitter wanted for short term let

Comfortable home a short walk or DLR ride from both Canary Wharf and Bow with easy access into the city and central London and all major London airports.

I have a home 15 mins walk from the wharf and am looking for a guest/s who will look after my home as if theirs. I will be travelling for 1/2 the month and I am looking for someone to both make themselves at home here (and here might be the catch) feed my 2 cats whilst I am between 2 locations. The situation offers someone a great space who perhaps is between properties and for 1/2 of the month will have the house to themselves pretty much. The letting period can be discussed and potentially is open to a longer period should the set up work for both parties.

The house is 3 bedrooms and your private space is a bright loft space with an en-suite bathroom. There are 2 other double bedrooms in the house. Ones of which has a guest who stays mid week for 2 nights only and has their own bathroom too. There is a living/dining room and great sized, well equipped kitchen. Plus a small snug as well as a living/dining room so plenty of space to relax. There is a garden so if you have green fingers - perfect! No smoking in the house but welcome to use the garden .

My 2 nights only lodger is great and has been staying with me for a couple of years now. He prefers to keep to his room, using it as a crash pad only and in and out from the wharf. The house is plenty big enough without anyone getting in each others space.

My 2 cats - a brother and sister arrived in lockdown. They love company... I hope you'll love them too! They’re super easy, needing feeding am and pm depending on your schedule. They don’t wake up crying for food…they’re very well trained! And obvs no looking after needed when I’m home so it’s not all of the time and hopefully not restrictive in any way. Would just like to find someone who likes animals and this is a bonus for them 🙏

I like to think I’m chilled. I keep a calm and tidy home and would love someone that respects that too. I have a cleaner so if that works, would like to share the bill for that but to be discussed. It makes for an easier time for all in my experience. No one gets irritated that they’re taking too much of the load!
