I am looking for a female flatmate to replace me for a double bedroom. You'd be sharing a bathroom with 1 person (female). You will be living with 2 other flatmates who occupy the other 2 bedrooms. The room comes furnished with a double bed and wardrobes (I may also be selling a desk and chair if you are interested).
The flat is super spacious with a large shared balcony accessed from the open plan living room/kitchen with views overlooking Canary Wharf. There’s tons of storage space, including a separate room for the washing machine and another smaller storage room.
You would be signing on to an existing joint tenancy agreement, which ends on 28th August 2025, with the option to renew for another year. Ideally looking for someone that would be interesting in renewing the tenancy.
LOCATION:
Transport:
Across the road from Langdon Park DLR station (1 min walk), which goes between Stratford and Canary Wharf, easy to transfer to Jubilee, Central, District, H&C and other DLR lines. Regular buses too.
SHOPS & AMENITIES:
Right by Chrisp Street market, Iceland, Savers, Boots, Tesco Express, post office, public library and lots of local cafes and restaurants. There is also a LIDL 15 mins walk, and other shops easily accessible by DLR in Canary Wharf or Stratford,
ABOUT THE FLATMATES:
Farzana (she/her) - a 31yo working in the charity sector. I mostly work from home so around the flat during the week a lot. You'll typically find me catering to my plants! I love cooking and winding down in the evening to a TV show or movie.
Louis (he/him) - a 29yo working in advertising. I mostly work from home but also enjoy travelling and exploring new places around the globe. I love concerts and a good glass of wine.
We’re a pretty chilled household and respectful of one another’s space. Looking for friendly and clean housemate that will mesh well together to create a chilled homely atmosphere. We’ve maintained this flat really well and new housemates will need to be clean and tidy.
*IMPORTANT - REFERENCE CHECKS:*
Must be able to pass reference checks (this is handled by the property management company and is a requirement by them in order to be approved to move in and sign on to the tenancy agreement). Unfortunately guarantors are not permitted.
Reference checks include:
* Passport (The incoming tenant would also be required to come to my office with their passport so that we can take a scanned copy. This will be compulsory)
* Visa (if applicable)
* Proof of address dated within the last 3 months (must be one of the following: Utility bill, council tax bill, P60, NHS letter, Polling Card or HMRC Letter – no other documents can be accepted)
* Last 3 months bank statements (6 if self-employed)
* Last 3 months payslips
You must also not have any CCJs.
The agency does accept students however they must provide 6 month’s of their rent share upfront or the remaining of their tenancy upfront.
