Hi there
I am looking for a male flatmate to rent a small double room in my 3 bedroom maisonette. I like to think that I am pretty easy going and like to treat the property as a home so that it is warm, welcoming and comfortable with a shared sitting room, dining table and garden. I have a dog called Monty (pictured), and he is friendly but also a bit nervous.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and a bathroom with a toilet. On the ground floor is the kitchen, WC, and sitting room with wood flooring. There is also a south-facing garden with views of Canary Wharf.
The home would suit anyone looking to live in a nice, comfortable place where they can relax and feel at home. We have respect and consideration for each other regarding cleanliness, visitors, and noise, etc. It is a home, so it needs to remain peaceful, relaxed, and friendly, so no party animals or one night visitors. Friends and family very welcome within reason.
LOCATION:
Zone 2
The property is just 5 mins walk from Poplar, All Saints and Westferry DLR stations (right in the middle of all three) or a 10 min walk to Canary Wharf Jubilee line with bars, cinemas, restaurants, Waitrose, gyms etc. Chrisp Street market is just 2 minutes down the road for fruit and veg shopping, a tennis court, and Poplar Baths.
There is a bus stop just outside, which goes to Trafalgar Square, Aldgate East, and Bethnal Green 115, 15, D6
THE ROOM:
It is available immediately and has a double bed, a wardrobe, and a bedside table. It is at the back of the house, so it has a great view of Canary Wharf and is bright and quiet.

£850per month.
£600 deposit.
CURRENT FLATMATES:
You will be sharing with two guys, myself, 46 (gay) and I am a self-employed furniture dealer. I let the other room out to another guy, 34, Scottish and works in HR. We are both friendly, easy going and socialise together occasionally.
All bills are included.
Fibre broadband.
Strictly no smokers.
CLEANING:
We tend to clean up after ourselves and just keep the place tidy, so the house would not suit a messy person. I get the hoover out most days just to keep on top of Monty's dog hair. Before going to bed, it is just good practice to wash up and give the kitchen a quick wipe.
WORKING FROM HOME
You are welcome to work in the lounge 1-2 days a week but it is not really suitable full time as it is the main room in the house and the room is probably too small for a desk. I split my time between working at home and my studio, whilst the other tenant has a desk in his room.
