Thanks for coming here. I'm a private landlord who bought this brand new build 2-bed flat 10 years ago.

It is 2 min walk from Poplar dlr. 5 walk to Canary Wharf. 3rd floor. Double bed. South facing (very important!). Plenty of sunshine every day :) Beautiful view of Canary Wharf from the window. If you work in Canary Wharf you can get an extra 30 min lay-in, walk to work, and save £120 a month on Oyster Card :)

Transport wise it is 12 minutes on the DLR to Bank station. So very fast to get into town. Poplar is at the intersection of the DLR so really convenient to go everywhere.

There are two bathrooms in the flat. One is part of the ensuite. The other is communal. As I will be using the ensuite, the other bathroom is essentially for your private use. Skylight bathroom.

Tescos is 5 minutes down the road. Very quiet area. Total of 9 flats in this building. 2 sets of electronic doors with security camera. Very safe.

All bills and council tax are included. As well as wireless broadband + 49-inch 4K TV inc Netflix.

I'm a professional working in the city in finance after my PhD in Astrophysics in Oxford. As everything in the flat, as well the flat itself is new and clean, my major requirement is that I'm looking for someone clean. I'm a quiet person and prefer someone who is also on the polite/quiet side. This is for 1 person only. For the moment I'm only looking for a clean female tenant.

I've had 7 tenants for the past ~10 yrs. Adam stayed for 1 year and decided to move in with some friends. Giulia stayed for 1 year before going back to Italy permanently. Paola stayed for 18 months. Jo, she's been here for ~22 months, and moved back home to work from home to take advantage of remote working. Rachel moved out to move in with a friend. Marina had been here for ~18 months and moving out to get a place together with friends. My latest flatmate, Birgul, she's been here for ~18 months. She is looking to move back to her home country to be with a member of her family who is currently ill.

I'm very fortunate to have had very nice tenants. We are all very respectful, quiet and considerate. I don't like to see this rental as some business. Its an informal way to get some steady income.
