2 gorgeous rooms @cozy Primrose Hill co-op w/cats

Seeking 2-3 fellow home makers for 2 lovely rooms opening up in a cozy co-op with two cats, 1 min walk from Primrose Hill.

Room 1:
☀️ enormous south-facing room + ensuite (~ 25 sq m).
☀️ Can accommodate up to 2 people.
☀️ £1366 + bills pcm for 1 occupant, £806 + bills pcm per person for 2 occupants.
☀️ Can be available as early as 8 July 2024.

Room 2:
☀️ bright and spacious double (~ 15 sq m).
☀️ £966 + bills pcm. If Room 1 has 2 occupants, Room 2 goes down to £905 + bills pcm.
☀️ Available from 14 August 2024.

Both rooms are minimum 12 months, Council tax band G.

NOTE 1: The rooms are not fully furnished, but we do have extra furniture (including a bed and multiple dresser drawers!) that can be distributed amongst new members of our household based on need.

NOTE 2: The security deposit isn't quite right. SpareRoom won't let us list anything with the deposit higher than 5x weekly rent, even though for a house this size the landlord can charge up to 6x weekly rent for a deposit. The deposit figure also assumes that we will have only 1 person in Room 1. If two people share that room then the deposit amount per-person shrinks further.

Current housemates are all in their 30s and working professionals.

We aim to create a community home space where we have freedom to have individual lives, with a backline of home support. We are looking for fellow home makers - true collaborators, committed to putting in light touch, equal action, and time to creating and evolving simple systems of care that provide mutual support, safety, and love for each person in the home.

Our home-family includes 2 cats named Minima and Ramiro. Their wellbeing in our home is a collective effort.

We seek to actively nurture kinship and build community with each other and our extended chosen family (i. e. friends, partners, neighbours, etc). This includes hosting shared meals, film nights, birthday parties, teach-ins, crafting circles, music jams, picnics, and more. We strive to create a safe haven where we can enjoy each other’s company and into which we can invite our extended chosen family often.
