A friendly and ‘with it’ older lady with reduced mobility is seeking a Sharer for her home to offer a little practical help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

She would value the friendly reassurance and company of having someone around his/her home in the evenings and overnight. She would also like some general practical help around the home with things she finds tricky, including bringing her a cup of the coffee in the mornings and opening the blinds, loading/unloading the dishwasher, hanging up laundry, taking out the bins, cooking and sharing 2-3 meals each week, unloading the shopping and other ad hoc errands as might be useful such as picking up prescriptions, accompanying the lady on a few local walks, watering plants…

The accommodation on offer is a lovely furnished double bedroom with ample wardrobe space and a shared shower room, plus shared use of the kitchen and sitting room.

The property is conveniently located in Primrose Hill, just 10 minutes’ walk from Chalk Farm Station (Northern Line).

With a background in education the lady is very friendly and enjoys interesting conversation. She has a close and supportive family and good friends. She enjoys reading The Guardian, listening to Radio 3 and 4, listening to music and watching a range of TV shows. She gets on well with people who have a sense of humour and take an interest in things.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time (up to 15 hours per week in a mix of practical help plus a little company) to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the lady’s interests.
