I’m looking for someone to take over my room in our spacious, modern flat as I’m moving out.

The room is really generously sized, with plenty of floor space and a large wardrobe, so there’s lots of room for both clothes and all the miscellaneous crap that somehow accumulates when you become an adult.

The room can be rented furnished or unfurnished, depending on what suits you. If furnished, this can includes double bed, bedside table and white wardrobe. My desk, chair, TV, black furniture and king-size bed will be removed.

The flat itself has a large open-plan kitchen and living area, with a huge dining table that also works really well as a desk if you work from home. There’s also a separate storage cupboard and additional storage/laundry area with the washing machine.

There’s a private patio, which is lovely in the warmer months, and the building also has an on-site gym.

The bathroom is shared with the room next door.

👩🏻‍🤝‍👩🏻 The flatmate

One other flatmate will be living in the flat — a 27-year-old female architect who is lovely, friendly and easy-going. She also has a very sweet cat 🐈.

Another flatmate is also currently moving out, so this is a bit of a fresh start for the household. We’re ideally looking for someone who is clean, considerate and friendly, and who wants a home that feels comfortable rather than just somewhere to sleep.

📍 Location

The flat is very close to the station, making commuting into London really easy, while still being in a residential area.

There are also shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby, and the on-site gym is a great bonus if you’re trying to convince yourself that this time you really will use your gym membership.

Bills: £300 - every quarter
Council tax: £66 per month
