Double room in amazing Putney riverside house

We have an amazing double room in our riverside house available from 1st August 2024 - with a balcony/terrace overlooking the Thames!

Located on the exclusive Deodar Road in Putney, just 5 minutes walk from Putney Bridge and less than 10 minutes from both East Putney and Putney Railway station, the house is stunning and rooms very rarely become available. Our friend Chris is leaving after 7 years having bought his own flat.

About the house:
BIG 5 bedroom house on the river with terrace, massive garden going all the way down to the river wall, huge kitchen, dining area and living room with a large U-shaped sofa, 55” smart 4K TV with Netflix, Sky, BT Sport + other channels, super fast BT broadband (180mbps) a large shared bathroom for 4 housemates (one has an en suite), and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. All bills are included in the rent. The house is big so it is never crowded.

Your room:
£1200 per month all inclusive of bills (Sky and BT Sport + other channels, super fast broadband, gas/electric/water, council tax, TV licence). Good sized double room with a stunning view of the river from the balcony/terrace (see photos), real wood floor, fireplace (not in use but a nice feature). Recently repainted.

Location:
We are five mins from Putney Bridge station, and less than 10 from Putney train station/East Putney. The location couldn’t be any better! Lovely cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants on Putney High Street which is just around the corner.

About you:
We are looking for someone who is easy going, respectful and enjoys socialising. We have our own groups of friends outside the house but most of us have known each other for a few years so we socialise a lot together, especially if there is sport on. We often have film/tv series/sport nights with food aside from nipping out midweek for the odd beer or two depending on who's around. These often end up as a lot more than one or two beers. We are looking for someone that wants to become a friend as well as housemates to keep the dynamic going. We like a good party or BBQ and have ones annually for the boat race, a big summer one, halloween and an annual house Christmas dinner.

About us:
4 very friendly and professional guys. Chris who works in the software business, Tom who is a software developer, Ant works in marketing for a major retail brand and Joe. None of us know what Joe does. We all work Mon-Friday, lead busy lives, like the gym/rowing/running (well, some of us) and enjoy the evenings cooking, going out, gaming or watching TV together. We are laid back but keep all communal areas clean and respect each others privacy.
