The flat:
Double room available in a brilliant location on a residential street in Putney. Split level with main bathroom and washing area downstairs in the basement, and both bedrooms, kitchen, toilet and living room on main (ground) floor. Only three flats in the building.
Shared open plan living room and kitchen, with the kitchen completely refurbed only in January. There’s also a private garden out the back.
The landlord is local, super friendly and very quick to respond to things. They occasionally pop round to help with the garden!
The room:
Decent sized double room, which comes with a divan double bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and bedside table. Clean and well-decorated.
The location:
High street, station and the river are all within a few minutes walk, with loads of shops, gyms/fitness studios, bars and coffee shops. East Putney and Putney Bridge tube are also only 5-10 mins walk.
About me (the flatmate):
I’ve lived in The flat for three years, London for five and very much consider it a home. I work in sports marketing, which I adore, and tends to keep me pretty busy on weekends as well as during the week. Mostly work in the office but occasionally from home.
I love socialising and frequently visit friends and family across the UK, combined with lunching, brunching, pub nights etc - the usual - but equally love a bit of downtime, R&R. Very into fitness and enjoy Pilates, yoga, running and gym, as well as a spot of tennis and trying to get into golf.
Looking for a likeminded flatmate, with a full time job, who wants to treat the place like a home. Even better if we become mates along the way!
Boring bits:
Bills will vary on usage etc but currently work out around £100 per month on top of the rent. The landlord pays the water so our bills include gas/electricity, council tax and internet. I’m also keen to get a cleaner in every few weeks to help keep on top of things.
Parking permits available on the road but honestly I’m not sure of the process.
