Description
A lovely room in Putney Bridge is available to rent in an apartment a friend and I have secured from the 14th February.
We (Shannon and Elise) are two female professionals who are lifelong friends, have been in London 5+ years and are looking to relocate to explore a new area and find a new place to call home. We both have full-time jobs (mostly in office but 1-2 days working from home each week) who love a pub trip but also like a place to relax in the evening with the Nintendo Switch...
ROOM/APARTMENT
Double, bright room furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a bedside table (sorry not the best photos but we do have a video of the room too).
Apartment is light and airy (top floor of three-storey building), living room/dining area, spacious kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet.
*I will say the photos don't do the apartment justice as we went in the dark/some are older, but we have videos of the room and apartment which I can share too*
LOCATION
Located on a quiet street 2 minutes off Putney High Street, with two excellent pubs, cafes, bars, bistros, and boutique shops. Waitrose, Lidl and Putney Exchange shopping centre are also a 1 minute walk away.
5-10 minute walk from the river and close to lots of walks and parks, including Putney Heath, Wimbledon Common and Richmond Park.
TRANSPORT/PARKING/BIKES
Mainline: 7 minute walk to Putney station (for Waterloo, Vauxhall etc).
Undergound: 10 minute walk to Putney Bridge underground station (for District line).
Buses: heading in all directions, just a minute’s walk away (Kings Road, Chelsea, Oxford Street etc).
Parking: on-street parking permits easily arranged at low cost.
Bikes: lockable bike store within the apartment block.
BILLS
Bills are not included but it is energy EPC rating C and council tax is Wandsworth so fairly low.
RENT
£800 per month, with an additional £800 deposit. We have a 12 month contract, with the option to extend.
LANDLORD
Private, responsive, reliable landlord – previous tenants have commented “good”, we have also met with him and he seems lovely.
We are looking for a friendly, female professional, someone who is laid back, up for a laugh and most importantly wants a place to call home. The room is on the smaller side so probably not suitable for someone that works from home every day, but hybrid would be fine. If you're interested please tell us a little bit about yourself in your message as it's really important we find a great fit :)
We look forward to hearing from you!
