I’m moving out a bit earlier than planned for personal reasons, so we’re looking for someone lovely to take over my room. You’d be sharing the flat with Luke, a 31 year old primary school teacher who also runs his own education camps business in the Wandsworth area. He’s gay, very sociable and down to earth, loves making dinner together, watching TV or heading out for a drink or night out now and then, but also appreciates quiet evenings in as well as time to himself.

The flat has a friendly, balanced atmosphere that’s ideal if you like having your own space but still enjoy a chat or shared meal sometimes.

The room comes furnished with a double bed and mattress, with enough space for either a wardrobe or a desk if you work from home. There’s also a huge built-in wardrobe by the front door, which you’d have access to as well.

The flat’s in a quiet, family friendly part of Putney with a lovely communal garden cared for by on site staff, perfect for morning coffees or soaking up the sun in the warmer months. Putney Leisure Centre is directly next door, with other gyms nearby too.

There’s a newsagent just across the road, two Sainsbury’s Locals within a 10 minute walk, and both Putney High Street, Putney Rail and East Putney Tube stations are only about a 10–15 minute walk away, making it great for commuting or grabbing a drink nearby. Direct buses outside also go to Clapham Junction and South Kensington.

Rent: £1,000 per month (heating and hot water included)
Bills: around £100 per month
