Double Room in Putney - End July/Aug

Hey guys,

Our lovely housemate is going travelling and therefore leaving our family unit imminently, so her spacious double room in South West London is up for grabs. It is available from end July/beginning August 2026.

🏡 The room:
It's a spacious double room that comes furnished with a bed, desk of drawers, m and built in wardrobe. A few bits can be purchased for an added cost if interested. It has big windows so lots of natural light and a nice breeze in summer. Stays warm in the winter too.

❗️Boring stuff:
The rent is £676 per month and bills come to around £100 each. That includes, gas, electricity, water, WiFi and council tax. The deposit is £750.
The agency requires the new tenant to have a job already and provide references so if you can't provide evidence for either of those, please don't message as you sadly won't be accepted.

🏡 The flat:
It's in a great location with a Sainsburys across the road and cute cafes and restaurants down the street. It's about a 15 minute walk to either Barnes or Putney stations, and has bus stops super close. East Putney station is the closest tube which is about a 20min walk or 5 min bus ride.
The flat has 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open plan kitchen/dining area with a balcony.

The flatmates:
You'd be living with 3 South Africans - Carla (myself) and Calven are a couple, and Calvyn is our friend from South Africa (yes two "Calvs", we know). We are really friendly and inclusive (we know what it’s like to be in your position) but it’s totally fine if you want to do your own thing too!

We like to keep pretty active and love all things sports - Calven and I play softball during the summer, whilst Calvyn is a keen cyclist. We’re also slowly getting into Padel!

We enjoy chilling on the weekends and doing things together, whether that be picnicking, throwing a ball at the park or braai’ing (bbq) with their friends - you are always welcome you to join in. We also enjoy the odd games night so if you're into cards or board games, this is the right place for you.

About you:
We are really after someone who is going to fit in with our vibe, get involved with us and be relaxed to live with. If you love sports and having fun, you could be a great fit!

This is not a party house and although we are partial to a drink and a night out from time to time, we like to keep a chilled and relaxed vibe at home. Friends are more than welcome to stay over if you give everyone a heads up and we are all really respectful of one another and the space.
