Large double room w/ own bathroom Putney Heath

Looking for a person to take over my tenancy and replace me since sadly I have to move out - you would live with my current flatmate Fritz. The 4th floor flat is in a well insulated building with an elevator, right next to Putney Heat. 10-15 minute walk to East Putney (district line) and Putney train station which is 20 min to Waterloo.

The flat: 4th floor of a well-insulated building with a lift, right next to Putney Heath. 10–15 min walk to East Putney (District line) and Putney station - 20 min into Waterloo from there.

Your room: Large double with loads of closet space and big west-facing windows, so you get properly lovely sunsets. You also get your own bathroom, plus some shared storage.

The rest: A really lovely communal living/dining room, balcony, shared garden, and a parking space in the private garage. Gas kitchen and all white goods included — and Fritz has a very cool coffee machine (and other gadgets) he’s happy to share and teach you. The building is mostly families and the neighbours are quiet and respectful, so we’re hoping for someone similar.

Fritz: I’ve known him for over four years, since university, and he’s genuinely the kindest, most laid-back person I know. His love language is cooking for people, so bonus points if you like to host, decorate, or just keep him company and chat while he’s doing chores. He’s half German, half Indonesian so you can expect a mix of order and whimsy but 100% warmth and silly puns.

He loves learning things: random classes, exhibits, pop-ups, new restaurants. You’ll find him at the BFI, at spin class, or deep in conversation with someone at the farmers market about unpasteurised cheese, duck eggs or sheep wool. The rest of the time he’s in an oversized hoodie on the sofa with a goofy 90s film or a YouTube rabbit hole.

If none of that is your thing, don’t be put off - I share basically none of his interests! The beauty of Fritz is that he’ll happily join you for whatever you love, and show you what he’s into. Either way you end up doing something you enjoy with good company, or discovering something new.
