Spacious double room in a homely, chilled home!

Hello future possible housemate!!

We have an amazing double bedroom, available in our Queens Park home. We are located 2 minutes from the park! So the location is amazing. The room is also extremely spacious

You’ll be living with Matthew and I, we are both friendly and respectful and have very much made this a home!

As we are managed by Marsh & Parsons, we are looking for someone looking to stay long term.

Move in date will be the 8th January 2023.

Rent is: £650
Bills come in at: £99
Bills covers electricity, council tax and water.

My company covers the internet costs. Which is speedy and reliable.

Deposit: One month rent in advance.

We are located 10 minutes away from Queens Park station (Bakerloo) and 7 minutes from the Kensal Rise overground. Absolute dream - having public transport so close by!

The area is incredibly safe and we’ve not had any issues living in this area.

We are also located next to lots of shops, with local butchers and grocery shops nearby. Most importantly, there’s a local taproom down the road! As well as some nice restaurants and a cute farmers market on Sundays’.

The House:

The room
It is a spacious double room, completely furnished. It has a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe. These come with the room and you could easily fit a desk and chair in here. There’s also a handy downstairs loo.

Living space
A very roomy space which leads onto the open plan kitchen. We often have friends over, so it is a great spot for entertaining. It is definitely a huge communal space, bit of a rarity in London.

The kitchen is also quite spacious, it is fully equipped. It has a handy dishwasher and our laundry machine also doubles up as a dryer.

Outdoor space
We have a bit of outdoor space. We have given the area some love and have BBQ-ed a few burgers out here!

Current housemates
Both working full time, both house trained. We keep the place neat and tidy, but are fairly relaxed about matters. This is a home not house after all.

We work during the weekdays, I do so from home. On the weekends, we pretty much pot about and do whatever. Sometimes we watch the F1 together, sometimes we’ll pop a movie on. Or even cook a roast on a Sunday!

We have definitely made this a home and we would like someone who ideally wants the same. The environment here is super chill and we often catch up after work, over supper. But we know how everyone needs some me time and that is more than ok.

The third roommate has decided to move to another area, closer to work. Hence why a room has now become available.

We are happy to host viewings, as we work during the day. These would need to be from 6pm onwards. Happy to host viewings on the weekend as well.
