The room itself is great value in a big flat with a very communal, friendly and inclusive atmosphere. It has plenty of cupboard space and big windows. The room is on the second floor right opposite the shower/loo and it has a very cosy feel as it is under the eves of the roof.

The flat is 3 minutes walk from Queen's Park underground on the Bakerloo line which connects quickly into town and also runs the Silverlink which takes you into Euston in 10 minutes. We are also 5 minutes walk from Brondesbury Park overland station which takes you towards Clapham Junction and Richmond in 30 minutes.

I have been in the flat for 10 years and love the area. The high street has everything you need, supermarket, pub, deli, bookshop, wine store, gym, dry cleaning, cafes, post office and the park too is great - tennis courts, pitch and putt golf, a cafe. Very relaxed atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle but very close to town at the same time.

Also about me, I completed a masters degree in 2011 and now work in a start-up doing crowd funding.

Queen's Park is also very near great areas to hang out in like Westbourne Park, Portabello Road and Notting Hill.

The monthly price is £800 and excludes bills. Bills total approximately £125 per month (council tax, water, internet, phone, gas, electricity).
