This is a midweek Monday to Friday let, so the room is only available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights it is not available at weekends: £575 per calendar month inclusive of all bills.
If you are working away from your home and family we hope our flatshare could become your perfect home away from home in London!
The real ‘star of the show’ is shown in the fifth photo - this is the actual view of Queen’s Park from the window of the available room taken a few days ago!
A former flatmate John described our flatshare as follows: "This has been an absolutely superb midweek home from home for me and Philip has been a very friendly flatmate. It’s been everything I could ask for." John stayed for four years before moving on due to relocation.
Many people have said that this stunning first floor flat is one of the loveliest they have seen in London! The available room is at the front of the flat on one of the most sought after streets in London, overlooking beautiful Queen’s Park itself - we are opposite the bandstand and about 5 minutes walk to the tube Station. The street is very quiet. The flat is large, airy and spacious laid out on two levels and with access to a huge garden. The room is very light and it is decorated with original works of art, it has a 4ft double bed, a very large wardrobe, a desk and a chest of drawers. There is also use of a very large sitting room with large windows also overlooking the park. There’s a large kitchen, a high quality bathroom and additional separate loo and use of the vast garden. There’s a Virgin TV media package and 120mb broadband wifi. The room is available now and is £575 pcm inclusive of all bills.. The deposit is £575.
I’m an art consultant advising large corporations and private clients on art so the flat is full of great works of art and there are always lots of invitations to art gallery private views available if you enjoy art with a glass of wine! The other flat mate, Alain is a senior analyst in an international property development company, he lives in Paris and comes to London for a few days each week - he has been staying here on a Mon-Fri arrangement for over three years and finds it perfect for his needs. We are friendly, upbeat and easy going, this is very much a home rather than just a flat share! We are looking to share with people who are fun and also reasonably tidy. Smoking is fine in the outside garden. Do please include a telephone number when you contact us by email.
For those who don't know the Queen's Park area, it was recently described as 'The new Notting Hill'! There are lots of great bars and pavement cafes The Queen's Park tube is a five minute walk and is at the beginning of the Bakerloo line and it's 15 minutes to the West End and 22 minutes to Farringdon in The City via The Elizabeth line. There is also the overground to Euston and Watford from the same station. The Brondesbury Park Overground is also five minutes walk away with trains to Stratford, Richmond and Clapham Junction. There is also on street visitor's parking at £5.25 per day if you have a car.
There's a very handy Sainsbury's Local within a few minutes walk we call it 'The larder' it's open till 11pm. Also close by is Planet Organic, The Co-op and M&S. There's a local butcher and baker and even an art gallery.
If you're into sport and fitness there is a running path around the park, a pitch and putt and tennis courts. There are two gyms and also a yoga centre within five minutes walk.
