We have an effectively ensuite double bedroom to rent in our flat.
The flat comprises spacious accommodation with a NEW large open plan lounge/kitchen with all appliances (washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer)
The flat underwent some work 2 years ago which included new grey wood floors in the bedrooms and redecorated in Farrow & Ball colours. The bedroom has it's own separate shower room (put in 2 years ago) for your use only as the other bedrooms both have ensuite facilities of their own.
The home is something that I've made my own so I've added a few Smart Home appliances that you will be able to use too, such as a smart TV, Amazon Echo, LIFX Smart Light bulbs and a Nest Thermostat.
Taking care of the connectivity of the above is a 200mb Virgin Media internet and TV package. I also have an Amazon TV account on the Smart TV as well.
The flat is excellently located for transport links. Queenstown Road (SW Trains) is less than 5 minutes away, Battersea Park (Southern Trains) a few minutes further. In two years time, you will be able to walk to the new Nine Elms Northern line extension in 15 minutes. Clapham Junction is less than 20 minutes walk.
Bus routes 137 and 452 take you into the Sloane Square to get to the City or West End.
There is a well stocked corner shop that is more a mini supermarket (literally around the corner!)
The bills include everything, including a weekly cleaner.
We are looking for like minded professionals to share our home with. We both work in the city, but we are usually back in the early evening after picking up our 1 year old son from nursery.
Our previous lodgers (a couple our age, early 30s) have lived with us for over 15 months and have seen him grow up with us all. He is very well behaved and surprisingly quiet! Our current lodger (single person, early 30's) has also had no issues either. You are more than welcome to speak to them about how living with him has been. They are only moving due to their workplace having moved to a different area.
Despite being burdened with a child (!) we still do enjoy a drink here and there and would certainly prefer more sociable housemates!
