Description
Seeking a single tenant to rent a semi-furnished large double bedroom with wall wardrobe and a separate study, sharing a living room, kitchen, and bathroom with one other occupant.
The study is also currently semi-furnished (was being used as a guest bedroom with a double bed, not a child's bedroom as pictured).
This is a great opportunity if you're after a slight taste of the one-bedroom flat lifestyle but without the bonkers price-tag.
My personal favourite thing about this property is the location: we are opposite Ravenscourt Park, are a 2min walk to Ravenscourt Park tube station (Disctrict Line), and a 10-15min walk to Hammersmith (Piccadilly, Hammersmith+City, Circle). If you're familiar with Hammersmith you'll know it's chock-a-block with high street shops (Boots, Sainsbury's, Lidl, Tesco, M&S, etc.) and is the proud home of the new tiny IKEA! Can confirm it's very cute. We're also very close (15-20min walk) to Chiswick, Shepherds Bush, 10mins from the Thames, and absolutely surrounded by pubs and restaurants.
I'm the current tenant (hello!), and my long-term housemate is moving out at the end of August. We're aware that this is a lot of notice, but we're organised that way! I work from home (as a graphic designer/illustrator) and tend to keep to my room (in the floor plan, I'm the closest to the front door) for most of the day, migrating to the living room at dusk like some sort of movie-seeking vampire. Typically I'm quite quiet, but am always happy to make a new friend! There's a pub around the corner with a swell quiz on Wednesdays; I personally enjoy haunting the museums, restaurants and pubs of West London so can certainly provide guidance there.
Bills are not included as we tend to swap providers depending on the best deals, but thus far are typically not much more than £130ish per month on top of base rent. We also have a cleaner who takes care of the communal areas - your bedroom and study are all you'll need to worry about. Council tax: Band C.
