Description
We have a brilliantly located and economical 2-bed flat available in Ravenscourt Park, ready for you and a friend to steal for the summer.
After 18 months, my roommate and I are moving onto greener pastures ( Charlie moving in with his fiancé, and myself moving back to be with family), leaving 6 months left on our lease; ready for someone moving into the city for the summer, and to potentially renew after that.
The flat has two double bedrooms, one larger than the other, but both can very comfortably accommodate a double bed and desk etc. There’s a good-sized bathroom, with decent water pressure and ample hot water. There’s a living room and – good sized kitchen, as well as a washer-dryer.
This would be perfect for two friends looking to start in the city, or perhaps two people buddying up.
Good bits:
Great-sized rooms, with plenty of light and security on the 2nd floor.
Ravenscourt Park is a fantastic green space less than 5 minutes walk away.
The rent is very reasonable at £742/pm excluding bills (est 120 extra)
Awesome transport links (District line 3 mins walk away at Ravenscourt Park Station, Piccadilly / Hammersmith&City / Circle Line 8 mins away at Hammersmith station). The Piccadilly line is perfect for commuting to central.
Situated on a quiet leafy street, with cafes, great restaurants and shops nearby (including a Tesco Express 5 mins walk away).
We’re happy to leave it part furnished with an awesome L-shaped sofa and table (to be discussed)
IKEA, Primark, H&M, charity shops, Pret, Wetherspoons, PureGym and Maccas are all nearby
Notable pubs nearby: Carpenter’s Arms, Crabtree, Rutland Arms, Blue Anchor, The Hope, William Morris, All Bar One, Brewdog etc.
Bad bits:
Some construction noise as they’re building a new development across the road, but it’s a new community space that’s nearly finished - The Civic Campus | London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (lbhf. gov. uk). I’ve managed to WFH comfortably for 18 months though.
Only single-glazed windows, so you’ll need the heating on to WFH comfortably in the winter.
Wi-Fi needs to be set up by the new tenants, we cancelled it as we both just use 5G
Parking is available by permit only on the road outside
