Double room in 2-bed flat near Chiswick

One bedroom going in a 2-bed ground floor flat in Ravenscourt Park / Stamford Brook (a stones throw away from Chiswick and Hammersmith). You will be living with me, my current housemate is sadly moving out as she’s just bought her own place. Move in date is 1st September, but there is a chance my housemate’s new flat will be ready earlier if you prefer to move in sooner.

This is not a party house! Looking for someone who is gentle, easy going, someone who I get along with, but who has their own life going on. We currently keep a very high standard of cleanliness so I am looking for someone who is very clean. At the moment we take it in turns to do a deep clean of the house once a week, but if you’d prefer to split the cost of a cleaner then I’m down for that.

RENT & LOGISTICS 💸
Rent is £1,075 per month NOT including bills. Bills come to roughly £200 a month on average. (I pay £100 more per month as my room is larger). Rent is paid on the 1st of every month.

THE PROPERTY 🏡
The bedroom is ground floor facing onto the communal garden. We are next to the district line so the sound of the train is audible from within the room (I find it relaxing but needed to mention it). We have our own private garage and parking space (see photos). Communal rooftop terrace (see video). Extremely quiet & safe residential street. We are on the same street as Westcroft Square, a cute little walled garden that I have my morning coffee in every day! (See screenshot). We are surrounded by some of the best nature in London, with river walks only 5 mins walk from the flat, and most impressive of all, Richmond Park is only a 20 min cycle away! 🍃

ABOUT ME 💁🏻‍♀️
I’m a software developer for a music publishing company. I cycle to the office once a week and work from home every other day.

In my spare time I like to exercise, mainly cycling, spend time outside in nature, I am studying Portuguese, I love attending live music events, and my main goal for 2026 is to become an effective plant Mum.

I am an early riser! I like to get up around 6:30 and exercise including on weekends. I try to be as quiet as possible so you probably won’t hear me, but you’ll rarely see me after 10pm on weekdays.

I’m always down for nice chats throughout the day and the odd spontaneous activity together. I don’t watch TV so I’m not one to ever spend much time chilling in the living room in front of the telly, but if you have good taste in film then I’d always be down for an occasional movie night. I generally have a lot going on in my life already so I’m looking for a flatmate who is highly independent.

Brazilian boyfriend visiting in September! My boyfriend, Alex, lives in Brazil and will be coming to visit me (& live in my room with me) for 2-3 months starting in September. He has unlimited access to WeWork and I have an office to go to, so there will only be one of us home each day during the working week. Happy to setup a FaceTime with him if you wish to meet him before making a decision.
