Hey! My name is Matt and as I'm moving out of London, I have a double room in Raynes Park available for rent.
Situated 5 minutes walk from Raynes Park station, the house is a semi-detached 3 bed with 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen. There is a garden with small garden shed perfect for bike storage and parking for a small to medium sized car. House is in council tax band C.
You'd be living with James and Jack, both professionals and lovely people. James is into running, travel and geopolitics; Jack is into music, playing guitar, gaming and F1. Both easygoing, the atmosphere in the house is very chill and welcoming - we are three friends, Jack and I play in a band together and James and I have been friends since school. We'd be looking for someone who is friendly, easygoing and doesn't mind a bit of socialising.
The house is kept fairly tidy but we're not uptight about it at all. As we've only been in the property a short time and it came unfurnished we haven't made the most of the living room, mostly used for storage and drying clothes! The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and good fan oven.
The room has a double bedframe, bedside table and wardrobe included with the house. I have added a mattress, chest of drawers (in wardrobe) and a desk which belongs to Jack. You would be welcome to these if you need them!
Biggest downside of the house is it's next to Bushey Road so is noisy, particularly in summer with windows open. It suffers from the classic London house issue of being too hot in summer and cold in winter, but the heating works well.
The house is rented via an estate agent so you would be being properly swapped into the contract, of which there is 6 months left and follows on with a monthly rolling if you choose to stay in the house. Deposit is properly protected.
