Double room available in a professional 30-something house in Raynes Park.

The location
The house is a 10min walk from Raynes Park and Wimbledon Chase stations (20min to Waterloo, 10min to Clapham Junction and 5min to Wimbledon), and a 2min walk to bus stops to Wimbledon, New Malden and Morden. It’s on a quiet residential street with plenty of on-street parking. There’s a Waitrose near the station and a Co-op, and an organic shop 2min walk from the house.

The house
The house has three bedrooms: one attic room and two on the first floor. The bathroom has a good-sized bath and shower. The kitchen is massive, with a dishwasher, gas cooker and lots of fridge/freezer space. The living room has a big telly with Sky TV. There is a nice back garden with a large shed for storage, which also has a drier for clothes. There is also a barbeque.

The room
The room faces the back garden and gets good light, particularly in the mornings. It technically comes unfurnished, but the guy moving out doesn’t need any of the furniture in the photos (king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside table), so they can be left if required.

The housemates
The current housemates are two professionals, one girl and one guy in their mid-thirties. We are friendly and sociable but also respect each other’s personal space.

The boring stuff
The rent is £563 per month plus approx. £120 per month for bills (including internet and Sky) and council tax. The deposit is one month’s rent and there is a small fee for the agency credit check. We also have a cleaner come once a week for the common areas of the house, which is £6 a week each.
