Description
Hi!
I'm Grigoris, I'm very sadly moving out of my room to move abroad and looking for someone to take over my tenancy in our fantastic flat until October 2025 (with possibility for extension).
-The flat-
Our flat is on the first floor of a quiet council estate near the river, with a few grocery stores 5-10 minutes away on foot, cute pubs, parks and woodland areas. It's perfectly located in a quiet area with great connections to busy London, right next to Rotherhithe overground which is amazingly connected to East and Southeast London (Windrush line), opposite a bus stop with links towards Southeast and Central, and a short 5 minute walk from Canada Water station that easily gets you to East, Central, and West London (Jubilee line). Essentially you can get to anywhere from Dalston and Angel, to Peckham, Waterloo, and central in pretty much 30-35 minutes. It's the perfect place to call home when you are returning from a busy day at work or a big night out.
-The room-
The room is very comfortable and gets lots of natural light in the morning. It comes with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, and underbed storage. There is a desk in the flat not currently in use which can be moved into the room if you want it. It's £780 per month and bills come to an additional £110 approximately.
-The people-
I've lived here since October 2022, my flatmate Joseph (he/him, 35) has lived here since October 2021, and our new flatmate Gedi (he/him, 30) moved here in March. They're both international (Lithuania and Malaysia) and have been living in London for about 10 years. We're a chill flat and tend to have different schedules and hobbies (sports, cooking, running, going out), but enjoy socialising when we find each other in the evenings. Joe works in architecture and Gedi in film post-production, both spending 1-3 days a week wfh. They often spend weekends with their partners, which makes the flat even more chill and more like a two-bed flat. They are looking for a flatmate who is social, respectful, tidy and clean (big point).
The flat is a safe space so don't be homophobic, racist, xenophobic, etc.
If that sounds good, give us a shout if to arrange a viewing :)
Cheers,
Grigoris, Joe, Gedi
