Excellent Double - in a unique home!

Hi there,

We're looking for a new house mate to move into our huge 8 bed Victorian pub in Rotherhithe/Canada Water due to a friend moving to Australia for a new adventure.

We're a sociable house and are looking for someone who wants to become friends rather than just housemates. Although this isn't a party house, we love having dinner together, watching TV in our comfy lounge, and occasionally a meal out or trip to the pub. The house wouldn't suit someone who keeps themselves to themselves all of the time.

Otherwise we are of course looking for someone who is tidy, cleans up after themselves and respects the communal space in the house.

We are all working adults in our mid twenties to early thirties, so unfortunately no couples will be accepted. We'd prefer another professional to join us.

About the house: the place was been renovated from top to bottom not to long ago, so the room is decorated to a high standard and is furnished with a double bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, desk and bedside cabinet. We've also got a swanky kitchen with 3 fridge freezers, a double oven and all of the utensils you could ever need, as well as a gorgeous living room with a huge smart TV and 3 beautiful bathrooms with power showers.

The wifi is a gig Fibre line with a mesh network and easily handles wfh/streaming needs. We have two washing machines with tumble dryers. All bills are included in the rent, including a cleaner for the communal areas once a week.

We're about a 90 second walk from Rotherhithe Station (London Overground) and a 5 minute walk to Canada Water (Jubilee line and bus station), with Central, Shoreditch and Peckham all a 10 minute train journey away. There’s loads of lovely pubs in the area, two massive parks, and huge Tesco a 10 minute walk away. Maltby Street Market and the Bermondsey Beer Mile are about a 20 minute walk away.
