Description
Hi, I am moving out of my house and so a room has become available in a flat share with my current housemate.
About the flat: The place is a 2 bedroomed flat in Rotherhithe. The flat has two bedrooms, bathroom, large living room and kitchen. We are on the second floor with a large veranda outside where you can sit overlooking a courtyard. The building has a lift with bike storage area in the secure underground carpark.
The flat is very close to the river and a 5-10 minute walk from two stations; Canada Water (Jubilee line, Overground) and Rotherhithe (Overground). It's also a 10 min walk from Surrey Quays shopping centre. The area is very quiet and peaceful, close to Stave Hill ecological park and in the middle of the river on one side and Surrey Water on the other.
About my housemate: Adrian is a professional in his early forties working in the arts in central London. He travels quite a bit and is often away at weekends.
The rent for this room is £995 per month, bills are not included in this. Total bills are currently £170 per month which includes council tax (Band D), water, TV licence, gas/electricity and internet. The new tenant will become a joint tenant on the existing lease. The room is the smaller of the two and so Adrian's share of the rent is the greater.
It’s a very quiet relaxed flat, no parties etc. Looking for someone who is sociable and friendly, but who respects privacy. Someone who just tidies and cleans up after themselves but not obsessively! Looking for a quiet professional over 35, male and female considered but no couples preferred.
If you are interested, please get in touch telling us a bit about yourselves and we can arrange a time for you to come round to the flat and to meet. Any questions, don’t hesitate to send a message.
Kirsty
