Hi everyone! We are looking for a potential housemate, to fill one of the bedrooms in our home.
Here is some useful info about the apartment:
The apartment is a large 3 bed, situated in Royal Albert Wharf. It has a relatively large kitchen/dining room and a separate living room as well as a large outside terrace. There is also a basement/utility room that has a day bed should any guests want to stay over, as well as an office space that can be shared, and that will fit a double air mattress if more space for guests is needed.
The bedroom is a large double room with an ensuite shower and toilet. The room has relatively high ceilings and a large double glazed window that is west facing with plenty of afternoon light. The room is furnished with a EU king size bed, two bedside tables and a large wardrobe.
The room cost is £1,200 pcm, which also covers all bills (electric, gas, water, council tax, broadband, etc), and a cleaner once a week.
Commuting is pretty easy. The apartment is in London Zone 3 and the closest station is DLR Gallions Reach, and is 10 min from the Elizabeth Line (Custom House DLR Stop). It takes about 45 min to Victoria, 35 min to Tottenham Court Road and 20 min to Canary Wharf. There is also close access to the SC3 Super Cycle Highway into Central London if you cycle.

Our names are Seb and Jim. We both work in healthcare and can have slightly odd working patterns. We are pretty tidy and enjoy living in a clutter free space. Both of us enjoy cooking as well as eating, and try and have friends and family over for drinks and food relatively regularly. We also into sports and enjoy cycling (mostly for food stops), swimming, and playing tennis (free tennis courts 15 min walk from the apartment).
We also have a little puppy called Luna, who is a little 4 year old rescue dog. She is very friendly, and loves cuddles and playing fetch with tennis balls.
We are looking for someone who will enjoy living here as much as we do, and who will help make this place a home as well. The apartment has more than enough space to have space to yourself, but also spaces to chat, drink some wine, eat delicious food, maybe play a board game or two, or just chill out.
