Description
The room is available from January 2025 under a new lease with Folio London. They're great and offer 3-year leases with a 12-month break clause. There's a property manager and things have always been fixed in 24-48h after raising (not that we've raised much beyond the first year new-build snagging list!).
As we are continuing an old lease, there will be no check in or out process. We will be taking over from my friend Ben who has lived there for 7 years and will have left some furnishing behind (on-top of the furnishing that comes with the place from Folio!)
You'll have access to the gym, pool and concierge services in Royal Wharf, and if you need parking you can usually find a space on the local Facebook group - but be prepared to pay around £160-180 per month and this would be a separate agreement from the flat. There are a few ZipCars around though if you need them.
There are a good number of amenities nearby - coffee shops, cafes, bars, a pub, hairdressers... still relatively new around here so things open up relatively frequently.
The total rent for the flat will be £2,875 per month, and the deposit is fairly low as it's linked back to when the lease was signed 7 years ago. Bills come in around £160-170 each per month which are split equally between the rooms, and include the council tax (Band F) and a cleaner who comes once a fortnight to freshen up the shared areas and bathrooms - that's if we decide to continue with her.
About the flatmates:
You will be living with one Male, Andrej. He likes gym and going out. You will also be living with myself: I enjoy theatre/performing arts and loads of gaming :)
N. B: You may notice in one of the pictures one of Ben's cats. If you have an allergy to cats, please dont let this deter you from reaching out as he will be bringing his cats with him and cleaning up after them as well
