Room available in rye lane flat

We’re looking for a fourth person to join us in our bright wee flat in the heart of Rye Lane!

The room catches all the morning sun and overlooks the Lane, though being set back from the road isn’t noisy. It’s medium sized with a built-in wardrobe and storage space, and comes unfurnished. The flat is located a cool 3 mins from Peckham Rye station.

Our flat has four bedrooms, a kitchen overlooking the terrace with banging sunset views, a large bathroom with a toilet, bath and shower, and a smaller bathroom with toilet. What we lack in living room space (there is none), we more than make up for with our lush terrace out the back. There’s loads of plants, tasty veg, picnic bench, hammock, and space for bikes. In the summer you can expect the other two flats we share the space with to invite you for drinks, backyard cinema and BBQs. Charlie the cat, who lives with our neighbours downstairs, will be sunbathing in his favourite spot.

We’re all early 30s, looking for someone 24+ who values a nice clean and tidy gaff, and wants to be a housemate beyond just renting a room. One of us works from home most days, and spends the evenings producing music, playing cricket and scouting out fun new nights. One of us works in a brewery and plays bass in a punk band. The other works for a charity and has no musical talents, but can frequently be found at gigs or Peckhamplex. You’ll be living with a Rotherham fan and two Norwich fans, so taste in disappointing football is desirable. For a bit more spice, you join us all on the Dulwich Hamlet terraces.

Rent is £505 per month, paid at the start of the month, plus around £70 for bills depending on month. A contribution of £455 to the deposit (which our landlord is holding with the Deposit Protection Scheme) will be required and will be refundable in the event of you leaving or the tenancy ending. It's available from 11th May, but may be able to move in at the start of the month!
