Description
We’re looking for a fourth person to join us in our bright wee flat in the heart of Rye Lane!
The room catches all the long afternoon sun and overlooks the garden, and being set back from the road isn’t noisy. It’s medium sized with a built-in wardrobe and storage space, and comes furnished with a bed, desk, chair and bookcase. These can go if you’d prefer to bring your own stuff. The flat is located a cool 3 mins from Peckham Rye station.
Our flat has four bedrooms, a kitchen overlooking the terrace with banging sunset views, a large bathroom with a toilet, bath and shower, and a smaller bathroom with toilet. What we lack in living room space (there is none), we more than make up for with our lush terrace out the back. There’s loads of plants, tasty veg, picnic bench, hammock, and space for bikes. In the summer you can usually expect the other two flats we share the space with to invite you for drinks, backyard cinema and BBQs. Eddie the cat, who lives with us, will be sunbathing in his favourite spot.
We’re all in our 30s, looking for someone 27+ who values a nice clean and tidy gaff, and wants to be a housemate beyond just renting a room. One of us works from home most days and is into going to gigs and playing cricket and football. Two of us work in the charity sector and are usually dashing about the city in the day; one of us is an avid traveller and learning Spanish, the other can be found at punk shows or starting a hideous craft project (which will be left unfinished). You’ll be living with a Rotherham fan and a Norwich fan, so taste in disappointing football is desirable. For a bit more spice, you join us all on the Dulwich Hamlet terraces.
Rent is £565 per month, paid at the start of the month, plus around £70 for bills depending on month. A contribution of £455 to the deposit (which our landlord is holding with the Deposit Protection Scheme) will be required and will be refundable in the event of you leaving or the tenancy ending. It's available from 2 Feb, but may be able to move in sooner!
