Description
Huge bedrooms, two toilets, friendly sociable flat, 10 mins to Finsbury park, Archway and Holloway Tube stops.
I reckon it's more important who you live with than where so a bit about me first. I am an Astrophysicist currently teaching at the science museum and tutoring at UCL whilst completing my PhD in interstellar oceanography. I love being active, snowboarding, rugby and watching F1. I travel often for pleasure and work and love a good festival. The flat is sociable and friendly, with a homely feel. The flat is ideal for students or young professionals
The flat has 3 bedrooms so you'll be living with me and another flatmate (2 rooms available). The flat has a lovely large living room, with a couple of sofas and a dining table. It's glass-fronted and it's quite blissful to snuggle up on a sofa and people-watch when it catches the sun. An open plan kitchen adjoins it. The flat is relatively new and in really good condition.
There's a bathroom with a toilet and then an additional separate toilet (which is a huge bonus).
Bedroom 1 is 12'7 feet by 11'2 feet (forgive me for giving you exact measurements, but I've been to many a flat-viewing before where they tell you the bedroom is a 'good size for London' before they show you a broom closet with a bed wedged into it). Speaking of which it's got two huge walls to ceiling closets in it - plenty of space to store your stuff and a lovely bay window.
Bedroom 2 is 14'8" feet by 9'10" with two floor to ceiling closets.
The flat's well placed for transport. It's about 10 minutes by foot (or 5 minutes by bus) to Finsbury Park on the Victoria Line. 10 minutes walk to Holloway Road on the Piccadilly Line and Archway is also about 10 minutes away on the northern line. Basically, you want a tube line, we got it. We're also directly on several main bus routes.
Morrisons supermarket is 4 minutes away. One of our favourite things about the area is the wide variety of fishmongers, butchers, and greengrocers within a stone's throw of the flat.
You'll also be asked to contribute one-third to the bills for gas, electricity, and the internet.
It's one month's rent as a deposit.
If you're interested in coming round to view the flat then give me (Milz) a message.
