Cosy single room with a fabulous skyline view

I'm having to say goodbye to my cosy single room on the top floor with a great view in Shadwell. The room has overlooks the London skyline, providing great sunset views, with the other side of the apartment showcasing views of Canary Wharf. Additionally, the apartment itself comprises two floors (making it feel more like a home, than an apartment).

The room itself is light, newly painted, and has a large built-in wardrobe and a mattress. If you’d like, a bed, a chest of drawers, and blinds will be provided for free.

The price of the room is £500 per month (bills included) + 1-month deposit when you move in.


Location wise, it’s roughly a 3-minute walk to the DLR and the Overground – with the next stop being Bank, or two stops for Shoreditch High Street (on the respective lines). There’s also a nice, nearby walk to Tower Bridge along the canals – I’ve found the convenience incredible. There’s an Iceland at the base of our apartment (up the other end!), and also Tesco Extra and Sainsburys Local less than 5mins walk away. You can also walk up to Whitechapel for a large Sainsburys. The local post office is roughly a 3-minute walk, while our nearest GP is about 2 minutes away. This has certainly been the most convenient flat I’ve ever lived in!

Our kitchen has been renovated within the last 10 months (our landlord is a carpenter – which is helpful!), comprising a new oven and gas stove, in addition to a dishwasher and washing machine. Also, we’re near the end of our apartment block, which means we don’t hear much from our neighbors.


You’ll be sharing the apartment with 3 others, two females (German and Lebanese) and one male (Hungarian) who are working professionals between 26-40 years old. They are very clean and appreciate a calm and peaceful home – so naturally, the expectation of you would be the same. It’s worth noting that the household takes the COVID-19 situation seriously and great care is taken with hygiene and social distancing.
