I'm looking for a new flatmate for a double room, which is available now.
Lovely light-filled home with a balcony just minutes from the river. Close to Central London for cycling and walking to work. Cycle superhighway.
I'd like someone respectful, responsible, easy-going. Someone who likes their own space but who might be up for sharing a glass of wine on occasion. Not a party flat. Smoking is fine on the balcony, access via the kitchen window.
The room is a lovely light south-facing double with a great view of the estate gardens and mid-19th-century buildings opposite. Nice and quiet. Fully furnished with bed, mattress, wardrobe, bedside table.
The flat is a duplex, with my room and the kitchen upstairs, Dan's room and Room 1, bathroom and separate toilet downstairs. The kitchen has a vintage feel but is clean and has everything you need. Bathroom with bath and shower overhead. Good and fast wifi connection.
The flat is on the third floor, located on Cable Street between Shadwell station (Overground and DLR / 5 min walk) and Limehouse station (DLR & rail / 7 min walk). Shadwell is a peaceful area given how close we are to central London. The flat faces the back - almost no traffic - and we're on a cycle superhighway.
The area is within short walking distance of shops and supermarkets, cafes, city farm, restaurants and pubs. Five mins walk from the flat you will find the river, Wapping and the Thames path with historic riverside pubs. Regent's canal, Limehouse marina, and some parks are also a short walk away.
The rent includes most bills such as water, heating, electricity and wifi. The only additional payment will be for the council tax (Band B) and it works out as just over £30 between the three of us.
