Description
*** Weekday Lodger ***
Hi, my name is Beth and I have a room available for a weekday lodger in our house in Shoreditch (E2 7DS).
The house is located very centrally and in TFL travel zone 1. It is about a 5min walk to Shoreditch High Street Station, a 10min walk to Liverpool Street Station or Bethnal Green, and a 15min walk to Old Street Station. There are numerous buses that serve the area included buses directly to London Bridge, The City (Bank, St Pauls etc.) and into 'town' (Oxford Street, Tottenham Court Road, Holborn etc.). We also have a small garden where you could leave a bike if you wanted to cycle - so getting around is easy.
I live in the house with my partner Jack and eight year old son. We often work from home, so are often around during the day. I'd say we're a friendly, relaxed but busy working family, happy for you to come and go as little or as much as you'd like, with no expectations from us.
We're ideally looking for someone who is commuting to London for work and needs a room to sleep for two - three nights in the week. We understand that working life is sometimes variable so we're happy to be flexible with days etc., and happy to agree on a rate accordingly. I've been a commuting lodger before, so know what it's like from both sides. It would be good to agree on a rough number of nights per week/month just so we know where we stand, but as I say, happy to be flexible.
Please feel free to get in touch!
