House with garden next to Columbia Market 🌿

Hi! My name is Simone :) I’m looking for a lovely girl to join myself and my flatmate Tara and move into the spare room in this our super cute house in the new year☺️ Our flatmate Astha is moving out on 15th January, so we are looking for someone to take her place. :)

This ad is for the room shown in the photos. As the room is at the back of the house, you get a great view of the gardens behind! The rent is £1200 pcm (excluding bills).

There are 2 bathrooms!! one is a shower and the other is a bathtub/shower combination. There’s a HUGE shared living room with doors that open into a lovely and green back garden, with an outdoor seating area. I’m planning on growing some vegetables in the garden, would be fun if anyone wanted to join!

The location is well connected, Hoxton overground & Bethnal Green tube are a 10 min walk, and lots of bus stops nearby.

The area is great location being 15 minutes walk from Brick Lane, 20 minutes from Shoreditch, 30 minutes from Liverpool Street. If you’re looking to experience east london whilst being close to central this is the place.

I (Simone) am 24, female, currently working full time in fashion retail. I’ll be starting a masters in landscape architecture at UCL this September, and planning to live in the house for another 2 years at least. In my spare time I’m usually either at the gym, at the pub with friends or chilling at home/in the area enjoying the weather :)

Tara is 21 and a Graphic Design Student who also works part time at a vintage store. She enjoys film, music and baking and is always down for a movie or craft night.

We are looking to rent with other women around the same age/stage of life as us, as we want the house to feel as much like a home as possible :) we’re both friendly and sociable and enjoy catching up when we can.

We rent directly from the landlord (no annoying agency involved) who employs his own handymen. Over the year we have lived here, they have been happy to fix/replace things properly and quickly (and at no extra cost if not damage caused by us) if required etc., which is a definite advantage.

Please note we will be joining a joint tenancy agreement. Contract start is January, and all 3 of us would be resigning a new joint tenancy contract when you join :)

Bills are a range of £60-120 a month each all together, depending on the season.
