Double Room- seconds from Brick Lane!

We are looking for a final person to fill a double room in our friendly and cosy house in Shoreditch (just 30 seconds from Brick Lane). The room will be available from the 15th of November as our current flatmate has opted to move out with friends. We will be signing a 12 month contract so really want someone who needs a long term home for the year (with the possibility of renewal after November 2025)! You'll need to be able to supply references and a UK based guarantor, so please don't apply if this won't be possible!

We calculate the cost of the rent based on the size of the rooms, the rent for this room will come to £829.54pcm. Bills come to around £100 a month and are already set up by us as the existing housemates (so no admin there for you!). We’ve split the deposit evenly so it’ll come to £906 in total which has to be paid in advance of the contract being signed.

You'll be living with three queer flatmates, all friendly, clean and have our own friendship groups in London. We've been living here now since 2022 and the letting agents and landlord are great (friendly and quick to fix any issues). We are all sociable and like spending time together in the living room in the evenings but also have own social lives and hobbies to keep us busy. Not a big party household but do like the occasional trip to the pub!

We are ideally looking for a young professional rather than a student- sorry!

House:

The house is a spacious, four bedroom, split-level house. It's located on Cheshire Street just seconds from Brick Lane and around a 5 min walk to Shoreditch High Street. Old Street, Bethnal Green, Whitechapel and Aldgate East tube stations are also all within walking distance (under 20 mins walk).

The property has a large living room which has a sofa and TV. The flat has natural light, a modern fully fitted kitchen, a tiled modern bathroom and a WC which is conveniently next to your new room! The flat also has a lovely rear facing balcony.

Room:

The available bedroom is 2.82m x 2.82m and shares the floor with an already occupied bedroom. The room has built in shelves and a built in cupboard that can be used as a wardrobe. Our current housemate has been able to comfortably fit a double bed, chest of drawers and a small desk! This room is unfurnished.

The view from this room is amazing! You can see all of the city skyline and you get some amazing sunsets!

Current Housemates
- David (32, he/they). Works in public affairs for a net zero non profit. In their spare time they like running, yoga and plaguing the household with their frequent Hello Fresh deliveries
- Vincent (26, he/him). Works in motion design and can often be found around the house painting or wistfully wandering around art exhibitions..
- Amber (28, she/they). I'm currently working in a university. I enjoy baking so expect lots of homemade treats. Enjoy trips to the pub and watching offensive reality tv.
