Leafy Shoreditch room w garden view (1 month sub)

Hi all,

I’m away visiting Sydney next month and am looking for someone to sublet my room for up to 4 weeks. The room will be available between 10th November and 5th December, which can be flexible for the right person.

We’re looking for a clean, and considerate young professional to take over my space for some/most of that time (sorry, no couples or pets).

The house is a beautiful Georgian (?), 4-storey home located on the edge of Shoreditch. It’s a 10 min walk from Hoxton Station, or a 15 min walk to Old St, with plenty of buses at every turn. It’s super ideally located: right near Brick Lane for your vintage and beigel needs; Jolene’s for your coffees and pastries; and a stone’s throw from Columbia road if you want to fill your Sundays with colourful flowers.

The double room is a lovely bright space overlooking our leafy courtyard. It is located on the second floor, which is shared with the main bathroom and living room. You’ll have the whole floor to yourself, and mostly exclusive access to the bathroom. I will clear some wardrobe space for you to use, and there will be under-bed storage for suitcases etc.

You’ll be sharing with my housemates Paul (M, 29, British) and Lachie (M, 26, Australian), both friendly young professionals. We’re a respectful, clean household, like to hang out on occasion, but also have fairly different schedules. We all work weekdays, which means we keep things fairly quiet and tame during the week. This is not a party house.

Otherwise, I’m looking for someone equally friendly and respectful to look after my space. It’s also important that they get along with my housemates, so I’ll try and organise my viewings around their schedules so that you can meet them too.

Linen and towels can be provided.
The price listed includes cleaning costs and bills.
