Double room - Shoreditch - April 1st

Ah Spareroom, the tinder of housemate hunting…

🏠 About the flat:
- We are smack-bang in the middle of Shoreditch, kissing the edges of Brick Lane so while it’s a busy area but we struck gold with a quiet street.
- A revolving door of buses is only 2 mins away, Shoreditch High St overground is a 5 minute walk away and Liverpool St, Bethnal Green and Aldgate East tube stations are a 10-15 minute walk in different directions.
- It is a four bedroom flat, all furnished. We have a large living space (with storage) and kitchen on the ground floor with a fat courtyard.
- The main bathroom is shared with 2 other girls, but never fear, there’s another WC downstairs too.
- Bills are not included in the rent, roughly they come to £150 a month per person (water, electricity, gas, WiFi, a fortnightly cleaner & Tower Hamlets council tax)

🛏 About the room:
- The room is a standard double size on the 2nd floor (top floor of the flat)
- It’s south facing, so lots of natural light (when London decides to have a sun) and a nice view of the The Shard…if you squint.
- Comes with a double bed, chest of drawers, mirror, narrow bookcase and a free standing wardrobe.
- Decent amount of room to add a desk, more storage or an aquarium if that’s your thing.
- Rent is £980 per month
- Bond/deposit is £1100
- Start date is April 1st, you’ll be signing a 12 month contract with the option to extend after this. Note that our contract requires someone who is currently working full time (payslips to be provided).

👯 About us & what we’re looking for:
- We are Ezgi (Turkish, 28, Consultant), Daniel (Croatian, 27, Software Engineer) and Kayla (Australian, 31, Producer).
- Between us we have lived in this flat for different lengths of time, longest being 5 years.
- We definitely are not sick of each other yet and spend a good amount of time together both at home and socially, often heading to our local pub, dinners, movies and gigs.
- Hosting is something we are humbly exceptional at. From brunches and dinner parties to the occasional house party, we like to milk the size of this flat for a good time with friends. Don’t freak out though, we equally love our brain rot time too.
- Our wonderful cleaner visits us fortnightly for shared spaces only (£42 a fortnight shared), however we are a very tidy household regardless since we have different schedules .
