Double room, Shoreditch/City, ground floor/garden

The double room is in a modern maisonette close to the City in Shoreditch. It is in Zone 1 and outside the Congestion Charge area. The maisonette has its own front and back doors and is on the ground floor with a garden at the back. It is located within walking distance of 3 stations: Liverpool Street (11 mins), Old Street (10 mins) and Shoreditch High Street (4 mins). There are plenty of buses too.

The room fronts onto a side street near Shoreditch Church. There is occasional passing traffic and people walking by. Shoreditch is a vibrant and trendy place with a wealth of places to visit, from restaurants, nightclubs, cafes, to upmarket independent shops and bars.

The double room is well furnished and smart, clean and tidy. There is a wardrobe, large double bed, wall shelving, a wall cabinet, an extendible table/desk with lamp and office chair, full-length mirror, shoe racks, shelf unit for clothes, two bed lamps, as well as TV and telephone points with wireless broadband. A walk-in cupboard in the room provides good storage space, as well as an iron, ironing board and clothes rail. There is underfloor heating in the room and in the living room.

The room would suit an independent gay or straight professional. The maisonette is shared with me, the landlord/owner and my Italian partner. You will find us friendly and inclusive.

The bathroom has a bath, shower attachment and storage space, and the kitchen is well equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, sandwich toaster, slow cooker, food mixer, toaster, kettle and plenty of pots and pans, cutlery and crockery.

All bills are included, as well as some basic household products.

Short stays of a month or less are possible too – please ask.
