Room available immediately in a two-bed ground floor apartment, within a private gated development, in the heart of trendy Hackney.

Would suit a late twenties/early thirties boy or girl (no couples, sorry) with a full time job and their own social life. If you love music, design, burgers, beer and cats we're bound to get on!

The main living area is very spacious with an open-plan modern kitchen and living room.

Fancy things that probably need mentioning include a washer-dryer, dishwasher, wooden and tiled floors all through with underfloor heating and a fortnightly cleaner.

The rent is £1000pcm and includes ALL BILLS, a fortnightly cleaner and unlimited cable Wi-Fi. The bedroom comes furnished. There's no TV in the flat (I use my laptop), but some previous flatmates have put one in their room.

THE AREA
The area has loads of cool pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Broadway Market, Columbia Road Flower Market, London Fields, Regents Canal and Oval Space. Brick Lane and Spitalfields are also walking distance (about 20 minutes). Buses to Liverpool Street and Old Street Stations take about 10 minutes. Bus stops for routes 26, 48 and 55 are 1 minute away from the front door.

You'd be living with me, a 29-year-old girl working in the creative industries, and the indoor cats, Miffy (9 years) and Thomas (2 years).

I'm into the usual stuff, music, design, dancing, films, food and coffee...

I've become good friends with my last few flatmates who were strangers when they moved in. I'm looking for a friendly flatmate who's up for the occasional curry and pub session, but has their own social life too. Shrinking violets who stay in their room all of the time need not apply!
