Hello everybody!

My flatmate has bought a house and decided to leave his comfy and cushy bedroom for rent from January 2025.

*The Area*

The house is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, just a few steps away from tube stations (West Silvertown - DLR and Custom House - DLR and Elizabeth Line).

The area has pedestrian paths around the quay (for walker and runner lovers), and there are two parks around the corner (Lyle Park and Thames Barrier Park).

*The Flat*

Located on the 4th floor, this bedroom has an excellent exposure to natural light and an enticing view towards Canary Wharf. It is equipped with a queen-size bed and reasonable storage space (one bedside table, one chest of drawers and one wardrobe). Two study desks can fit comfortably for those working remotely or studying.

The flat has a dual-aspect living and dining room with two sofas, a separate kitchen fully equipped with all appliances, one bathroom with a second bedside table, and two separate storage rooms.

For those having a car, a motorbike or a bike, the Flat has also a parking space at the ground floor within the building.

*Expenses*

The overall rent the landlords have proposed is £1,750, and contracts are handled by the letting agency. Other expenses are detailed as follows: gas/electricity (£66), water (£17.50), council tax (£64 - band C in Newham), and high-speed Wi-Fi (£20), with all prices shown per person.

*Flatmate*

The agency will likely check your financial capability to rent the house for a year, so it will be important that you can demonstrate that accurately.

As for who I am looking for, I am open to any young professional irrespective of sex, race, disability, gender, belief and orientation (of course!). Please just be polite, honest, clean, and tidy.
