Description

Exact date not known, likely from June or July, this lovely, bright double room for single occupancy will be available.

It is spacious, with a wardrobe, double bed, desk, chair, bookshelves and armchair.

It is conveniently located - minutes away from South Acton overground, with regular E3 and 440 buses on your doorstep, with the 94 bus being a 10-minute walk taking you into central London. Less than a 10-minute walk is King Street, Acton, with plenty of buses going to Ealing, Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith, etc.

For the tubes, Acton Town for the Piccadilly line is less than a 15-minute walk (if you’re a slow-walker/lazy like me!), or Turnham Green for the District line (it’s a 25-minute walk or 10-minute bus ride on the E3). The Elizabeth line can be reached by taking a 15-minute 440 bus ride.

You would be sharing this two-bedroomed flat with me (female), and two lovely cats who consider themselves to be VIPs, so if you have any allergies or do not get on with animals, then this wouldn't be a good fit for you as your next new home.

When I am away, you would need to look after them (unless you’re away too, of course, in which case a cat-sitter comes), so you must have a love of furry friends. One is a moggy, and the other is a British short-haired cat who behaves like a Princess!

The flat is on the ground floor with a patio garden to the rear, a shared bathroom, kitchen. As the flat is already fully furnished and there isn’t much storage in the actual flat area, your belongings would need to stay in your room, which is a good-sized double.

I work from home nearly 100% of the time, so it would be too difficult for both of us to work from home permanently, but one day a week would be fine working from your bedroom.

Newton Avenue is a lovely, quiet, tree-lined road. It would suit someone friendly, professional, or a student who is tidy, respectful, and has a good sense of humour! The neighbours are all nice, mainly in the creative business.

The rent is £1,100 per month and includes all the bills, i. e., gas & electricity, water, broadband, and council tax band D. Parking is available with a parking permit or a bicycle space in the nearby hub. Cleaning is shared between us, unless you prefer to find a professional cleaner every two weeks and share the bill.
Viewings are available during Easter and then from May for June/July move.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
