Description
Available from 21st November - Lovely light good sized double bedroom, overlooking our garden in a very spacious split level, first floor flat of a Victorian terraced house. Although officially unfurnished, the room does have a double bed along with fitted wardrobes and cupboards. It was very recently decorated in farrow and ball and has grey walls and a neutral carpet and woodwork. We have recently had most areas of the flat redecorated, including new sash windows and the entire front of the property re-done.
The flat is located on a lovely tree-lined road and is airy and homely. There is a small front garden and lovely quiet back garden with bbq, tables and chairs and a decking area.
The kitchen is very good family size with eating area looking outside, which works well for entertaining.
The lounge is well furnished and comfortable with really good light and plenty of shelves and space for storage.
There is a separate bathroom and toilet.
Parking is with a parking permit with Ealing council (inexpensive). You can always park directly outside the flat.
Please note that bills (are on top of the £687.50 rent) and currently work out at £165.40 per person, per month:
This includes Council Tax - 69.00 / Gas & Electricity - 47. 50 / TV Licence - 6.40 / Sky TV and Broadband - 27. 00 / Water - 16. 00. Additionally I am looking to employ a cleaning service every two weeks when the new tenant moves in. Total rent + bills: £852.90
You would be sharing with me, a 40 yr old female, working in media. I am pretty laid-back, tidy and sociable, and up for going for drinks having bbqs in the garden etc... I am out a lot of the time so my future housemate would have the flat to themselves regularly, evenings and quite a few weekends.
The garden does need attention which is something that I could do with a hand on, it would be great to have someone who likes getting involved in the garden maintenance side of things a little, as it has the potential to be a really great space. We have some lovely places to eat and drink in the area, most of which are 5-10 mins from the flat. Chiswick high road is just over 10mins from the house, along with the large Sainsbury's store and all the other great restaurants, bars and pubs in Chiswick and surrounding areas like Hammersmith, Kew, Richmond etc...
There is a Sainsbury's local store 3 minutes from the flat and also a large Morrison's in Acton which is less then 10 minutes walk.
Tube: Acton Town/Turnham Green/Chiswick Park Stations(Piccadilly/ District lines) are all around 10 minutes walk from the flat.
Overground: 5min walk to South Acton overground station which services all stations between Richmond and Stratford along with South London via Willesden Junction, Highbury and Islington or Richmond.
Bus: The flat is on the E3 and the 440 bus routes, and an 8 minute walk to starting points for the very frequent 94 bus route which runs into Westend, Shepherds Bush and Notting Hill. Buses 27, 272, 237, 267, H91, 391, are less than 10mins walk along Chiswick high road. We are also 6mins walk from all the bus routes on the Uxbridge road, 607, 207, 70 etc...
Access to London Waterloo/Clapham Junction: The E3 bus route takes you to Chiswick mainline station in approximately 15 minutes, otherwise you can head via Richmond on the overground from South Acton - the train then takes approximately 20 minutes.
